Window panels that is. I have posted about this before and want you all to know you can customize your store bought panels more than you think. First make sure to purchase the correct size. Please DO NOT buy to short of panels. Your panels should always go down to the floor and NEVER stop short of this. As well as have them installed as close as you can to the ceiling. There are many ways to make your panels look custom and you don’t even have to know how to sew. You can use fabric glue or a fusible bonding agent to get the job done. My sons room I bought 96” black out white panels, but I wanted to add some interest to it, so I added a simple black cross grain ribbon and used fabric glue to apply it. My husbands office I bought grey panels and added a fabric at the top to elongate the panel to 108” and added grommets. I did sew these, buy you could use a bonding agent to achieve this look. My oldest sons panels came as a color block already done as shown. I have achieved these look before by fabric to the bottom of panels to add pattern or color or even length. If you have panels that are not the correct length in your home. Consider adding fabric to the top or bottom of them to add height. In my daughters room I added some ball fringe to add some more pink and a fun detail to them. Your panels don’t have to be boring. Think tall panels which help elongate the room. If you install them to short or not high enough this cuts the room off.
